MET is an Aeronautical Engineering service company founded in 2005 to assist aviation community to comply with airworthiness & certification requirements related to product/part/equipment certification and organisation approvals (DOA/POA) as well as necessary process and method development to enhance design and engineering capabilities.
MET has broad knowledge and experience about European Aviation legislation and industry standards in aircraft design, development and certification and has been supporting national and international aviation community as a reliable partner.
For aerospace companies, complying with airworthiness and certification requirements often mean a significant amount of work to find out which requirements are applicable, how to comply them thru cost efficient means, setting up necessary process, methods & procedures, training/qualification of personnel and going through tedious organisation approval processes. In addition, regular attention has to be given all along the time to control and monitor whether the processes are still compliant and takes into account new/updated requirements as well as being implemented in the organisation effectively.

Founding Partner and Senior Expert
Tülay ÖZGÜL, has B.Sc.(1994) and M.Sc.(1997) degrees in Aeronautical Engineering in METU (leading technical university in Turkey) and more than 25 years’ experience in design and certification in Aerospace Industry.
Tülay ÖZGÜL, worked in Turkish Aerospace Industries -TAI/Design and Engineering Department as Senior Structural Design Engineer and then as Head of Airworthiness and Certification (responsible for DOA, Airworthiness & Certification and Safety) (1994-2005)
During her studies in TAI, she led TAI Design Organisation establishment (organisation structure, process, procedure) in accordance with Part 21 and compliant to Airbus DOA. She completed several trainings on design and airworthiness, attended many workshops and OJTs in Airbus facilities located in France, Germany, and Spain. She acted as the DOA Manager and Certification Coordinator in A400M program on behalf of TAI and attended meetings/workshops both with Airbus and its design suppliers as well as audits/panel meetings with civil (EASA) and military (CQC) Authorities.
She is the founder of MET and has been working as senior certification/DOA expert since 2005. She is the technical responsible of the projects carried out by MET.
Tülay ÖZGÜL’s competence and knowhow in design and certification as well as her knowledge and experience in Part 21 compliance, DOA and airworthiness matters, will ensure to accomplish the tasks on time and with high quality.
